Our specialty as an IT provider for NSW schools started quite simply. At a random Christmas party, a friend’s husband (Chris), at the time a computer coordinator and a TAS teacher at Leichhardt High School, asked me:

Chris: “Hey Ondrej. So what do you do!”
Me:  “I’m in IT. I manage Computer Networks.”
Chris: “Yeah? … we have this problem at our school which we have been trying to solve for ages and none of the experts we had in have been able to figure it out. Do you think you could have a look at it?”
Me: “Sure, I’ll try.”

And the rest was history. Problem got solved, Zima Networks got founded and Leichhardt High School become the very first school we partnered with for an ongoing Technology Support. That was more than 20 years ago back in 1997 and we have been providing technology solutions to schools ever since.
